hey this is kinda directed at Linux. i want to know if you can make a video player or something for all operating systems that can play the files that you record in tremulous when you do /record. and if you can will you do it? and maybe include some features like fast forward so if we need to look at a video it has all that stuff so we don't have to sit for hours waiting for the moment and then not be able to pause the vid to see it just to be sure.

well demos aren't videos like you think, they don't actually record the exact video, but it uses the client to re-create the scene. The recording does something like saving entities events, actions, ect. then on the client it reads those saved information and creates, moves, and does just like it was saved to do.
