Jetpack Fuel

It's linked to stamina, so when I was sprinting away back to base and tried to jet over a ledge, I couldn't make it over because my stamina was low when I used jetpack and the rant that was chasing me killed me. Can stamina be put separate from fuel, please?

One: Stamina heal is epic fast. Two: There's nothing else to use. Three: Double won't make a mod for it and I agree with him.

Well epic fast isn't instantaneous, so thats no help to situations like that.

I think the whole stamina-fuel thing is kinda tricky , thats why i liked it so much.
This jet is a whole new way of game .
But the mod is still unbalanced (Hummies again have abit of advantage because of the overbuilding..)

ive noticed less spam and more focus on trying to steer the one luci ball they fire

didn't you read bugs post? sounds like it won't change.

the luci guidance has reduced spam because if you have tried the luci and you play like you just spam, you are almost garunteed to not hit, because as you turn to run, your lucis curve away and miss. the balls are now able to reduce camping and move the games along faster

but how do aliens reduce human camping if they are being shot around corners before they are even optically seen?

The luci thing also ruins ranged base kills. Example: On Arachnid I got into the alien base and was shooting an egg with a luci. Naturally I wasn't just standing in one place, I was strafing around the egg. Even though I kept my reticule on the egg, the ball curved and missed. I was forced to stand still, fire, wait till it hit, then fire again, stand still, and then on to the next egg. This left me vulnerable to alien attacks. Did I die? No. But could I have and will I most likely get fûcked by this eventually? Most likely. I know that to some this mod is "fun" and stops spammers (btw I still see spamming except now it's not a bunch of balls just a couple that fly around), but all this does is make pulse rifle a better basekilling weapon.

Maybe the player can turn it on and off?

If that can be done, that's what I was also thinking.

I have an idea for the jet fuel: maybe it would be better to bin it with the air ... you know if you jump in water you may die becourse you "forgotten to pack a snorkel" you no ... if its possible to bin this to jetpack fuel this would be grandious

well in trem there is no "air" so there is nothing like water to trigger this.

I was thinking (from a builders point of view) that if you were weilding a ckit then you could still have unlimiated flight. The reason I would find this more helpful is that builders use the jetpack for easy building and to acess certan areas wich the curent jetpack doesent allow. Also they wouldent be able to kill stuff with the blaster because you need to be weilding the ckit to have unlimiated flight. Comments??

what areas can you not reach now that we have fuel?

The only problem with firefox's surprisingly good idea is that assholes would switch between weapons to keep their ul fuel. But the fact that blaster isn't great for basekilling is useful in this scenario.
