What happened at the test/Trem for me

Long story short: I'm getting a laptop.


So as many of you know, I play trem at a public library. You use your library card number to reserve computers. Well since that would mean if someone were to reserve me in the middle of a game (like the test for mbaud and IE) I would be screwed. So I know more card numbers to get past that and reserve other computers. Which would be fine except the library people don't like when you do that. So basically, after I switched computers right before the test for IE and mbaud, a disgruntled old man alerted the library people about my actions. I played it off like I didn't know what they were talking about and they seemed to buy it, but they were gonna check to see if the number I used was in fact my number. So before they could reveal my lie and perhaps unleash the banhammer, I left. So now I'm most likely gonna be on trem less or just try to not be seen by the woman who was questioning me. And I'm definitely gonna save for a laptop. Just letting you all know since it's gonna be hard to get on trem now.

Wouldn't it be easier to get a desk top? You could play better on it although a laptop would be better 4 school and stuff an u might be able to play trem on a laptop

I play better on a laptop than a desktop. Also, laptops come with built-in mics. Might as well get one too..he needs one for college.

Gl memory and if u don't mind me asking what comp do u wana get and how much money do u have to buy?

Try to get one of those awesome laptops that the screen twists into a tablet =D

lol alt, i've seen them the specs aren't great, anway mem if ur getting a laptop make sure u choose carefully, and if ur looking for trem playability don't do what i did ( which was getting a minilaptop )

Just make sure it can handle Tremulous...the game is a resource hog

My brother cared to learn more about computer stuff than me, he told me I should get an alienware laptop (I want a gaming computer) and said I might as well go for a big screen, it would be bulky but idc. If u guys have better suggestions post em, and IE I have a job so money is no real object but I'm not paying like two grand for a fücking laptop.

It's true. When I have my process explorer opened and I run the game, my CPU spikes to roughly half of it's original level. A plateau would be a more appropriate word than a spike.

Ok you have the case you insert power supply then the mobo then add the processor then add the six sticks of ram then add the 6 hard drives and then add the 3 graphics cards and hook up the sli cables and wire the powersupply to it all.

I'm guessing from what you say that I'm supposed to put it together... How much does it all cost?

I do have to insert a little warning about the power supply. I built my own desktop and bought a case that included the power supply. I, for some reason, didn't check the power supply before using it. It was ok for a couple of months before my motherboard got fried. It turns out that it was a cheap and inadequate power supply.

i clicked doesn't not come with power supply thats a $200 power supply XD.
