Crew wars

The Crew Wars, sounds cool doesn't it?
Well, it IS! If we are done brainstorming on how we make this work, it will be a summer holiday event.
You take multiple teams, of atleast 1 scrimmer and 2 ACRit`s, and a max of 5 players, Teams need to be approved by selected people.
You got ranks, which stands for your personal objective:

Human:
1. Engineer - Builds and maintains the base. (B> Builder Preferred)
2. Defender - Defends the base and his Engineer.
3. Marksman - Uses Mass Driver , mainly to kill dretches etc.
4. Heavy Trooper - Uses Chaingun to take down rants and goons, or to defend the Tank.
5. Tank - Kills the enemies Base, using for example: Lucifer Cannon or Pulse Rifle.

Alien:
1. Engineer - Builds and maintains the base. (B> Builder Preferred)
2.. Defender - Defends the base and his Engineer.
3. Marksman - Uses Advanced Dragoon, Objective is sniping down important buildings.
4. Heavy Trooper - Rant to take down Battlesuiters and Chaingunners, or to defend the Tank.
5. Tank - Kills the enemies Base, using for example: Tyrant or Adv Goon.

When a Crew is being establisht, every crew member needs to be on the server, so they can gain ranks.
If a player thats never joins the Crew Wars has a Rank, that rank will go to another player, which was the second choice.
Crew Wars will be available during the whole Summer Vacation, and the scoreboard will be in a topic, the Winning Crew needs to be approved by the Losing Crew.

This topic is for ideas, so only post if you think you can improve this.

why would it be 1 scrimmer to 3 acrits? I'm pretty sure we have more scrimmers than acrits.

well atleast 1 scrimmer and 2 ACRit`s? There are more ACRit`s active then ACR. plus we got Crews of 10 members, there should atleast be 2 IT`s in.

Theirs no way their are more acrits than acr scrimmers.

I counted 13 scrimmers just off the top of my head.

We sure do need to list all of our members..

We do have a list, !info members. It's not completely current, could use some updating, but it lists the majority of our members. Anyone that isn't on the list we obviously know is in the clan. and it shows people that are inactive and aren't kicked out of the clan.

I'd like to throw in a few ideas...

1) well 10 ppl sounds like a hellofalot, and if u do it that way, the whole clan is just 2 big groups instead of maybe say 5 or 6 teams of 3-5 ....

2) I think you should not do any type of limit on scrimmers vs ACRits, what you SHOULD do is make the teams require approval before they can be created, to keep things balanced. For instance if bug, lad, mem, and double try to make a team ( ) we could maybe swap out a few ppl to make it more fair...

other than that it sounds great !!


edit: lol u forgot 'basic' rank: someone who never upgrades to higher classes most of the game

but back to the point that, ya as a clan we make maybe 1 team of ten so i think teams of 3 would be better

2 things: 1. Rioters server limit=14 not enough for 20 per team only 7. 2. Vyrus and mbaud you BOTH MISSED ME!

Haha, Chris told me that, but you all posted before i could update =)
Lets make teams of 5, and(look at this) ATLEAST!!: 1 Scrimmer and 2 ACRit`s, so we could fill atleast 7 teams whit 1 scrimmer and 2 ACRit`s, which we could put more scrimmers in to.
But yeah vyrus, we could also make an approval system.
And Mbaud, Who`s Skate?? you mean skythe?

mhm, another idea is that if there are parts of different teams on (like say 2 ppl from 2 separate teams ) they could do mini matches that count for half

Chris is EO, And he gives us approval of going on whit it, so we can start the event. Now, about the crew approval team, what about those people:
-Chris, he is EO, so should have to do SOMETHING whit it.
-Vyrus, he helped thinking about it
-FireFox, He came whit the Idea, but hes probably gone&inactive for a while.
-Me, Go figure out why yourself.

What are the holidays of you guys?? i`m going on a 15 day trip or something, so wont be gone for long.
We can make an exact date of the event if we know the holidays of everyone,

ima be back sunday afternoon (yay) so yea that spounds good, but we better let buggy have a say in it, so we do most of the stuff, but if buggy has a complaint or something, he can throw in a word

we should start a new topic for applications, then another new topic for the score, then things should start rolling...

we need to create a team application template, something like:

Code:

team name ( limit 10 characters ):
members ( 2-4 ):
leader ( optional ):
time available ( the times when most of the ppl on ur team will be on ):
motto ( ? ):

and we should figure out a system for a scoreboard, i think i could look into making a java app, so we could all edit it ( at least all of the ppl moderating this event ), so then ppl can post wins\losses and we can change teh score.

Bug always have a word in it, you don't need to call him to, its his clan, so he got the final word about almost EVERYTHING!
Buggy, can you help us do this:
