| Its all fine except for 1 thing which some people are doing, when say a rant gets to lower than 50 hp and he pretty much knows hes gonna die, he devolves then evolves back into a tyrant with 1 bind, meaning full health and can fight straight away, i dont think this should be allowed. Wouldnt bother me if they ran away first then did it, but doing it in mid battle is just totally weak, his rant basicly has 800hp if he keeps doing that.
So point is, its unfair to let aliens do this when they should be dead, rather than them doing this trick turning around and having a better advantage over the humans chasing such alien.
Thoughts please? | |

Because the more that people complain about it and the more trouble they make for it, the more likely someone will do something about it faster. | |

what i meant was that i got everything on the current qvm all redone, and i added devolve fix, but u still won't update it until u get more mods which quite frankly I don't quite see eye to eye w' u on | |

you should decide for yourself how to deal with it. youre not gonna lose your admin over something thats still being dealt with. if you think devolve/revolve is bad, just do what blade does, until a concrete rule is made. its common sense. btw weed, the phrase in your sig confuses me, what does it mean | |

| limiting devolve to alien base is stupid, its not a fix its a handicap. i had a chance to snipe h default on karith because the retards on human were too busy building us in at the front to pay attention to their own base, but when i got there it said i couldnt devolve outside of my base. so i go back and go goon but when me and bender get back to h default someone noticed us and we lost our opportunity. i got screwed over by this dumb feature later in the game as well.
anyways, i thought the concensus was to make it against the rules and just !kill abusers, not limit it to AROUND THE OM

| It does not work very well with base only, maybe you could like standard evolving? 'too close to human base/building' when the get to a certain distance away from any enemy they can? | |

That might not fix it. I've noticed in some maps I couldn't evolve because humans were building downstairs and they buildwhored the whole map. Sometimes you could only evolve in alien base in the very very back of it. | |

this doesn't work at ALL, it's how we originally had it but people would still be able to abuse it, mist notably rants who ate fleeing. They flee far enough from the humans and then devolve/revolve | |

The only time you might use it at your base is if theirs an attack going on and om might get killed by then and you're screwed. Otherwise as memory said, having to go back and forth through the map to devolve and use it secretly to snipe makes it obvious to opponents to see what you are doing. | |
