I wanna create some kind of pvp, probably flag based kind of game. Flag spawns, players fight for flag and first to bring it to their "base" get control and then they build to keep other players out for say a week, then the world resets. Im just beginning the modding scene of minecraft but I do not like java so don't expect too much yet ill attempt some shit for just fun.

when you capture, it should turn into a stack of materials for building walls/traps/bases.

I know java, but not well enough to mess around with minecraft right now. Maybe later if i have some time and some patience.

and I will probably just tamper with a randomly generated map to have much more accessible resources but I won't just give them, there is no fun unless you have the challenge of finding and building it all yourself.

Me too, but some people (bug) get bored with games really fast so you gotta change stuff up sometimes, hold an event and such every so often.

Someone just host a vanilla server with hamachi, and we can all connect. Although I don't really want this to happen, because the last time it did, 3/4 of our members became rusty tremulous nubs.
