| .txt and .dat are the same format, yes, but make sure you use the .dat extension, because tremulous expects it to be thus and like i said before, the server SHOULD make an admin.dat if it doesnt find one, when you run a command that is relevant towards it, aka !setlevel, !ban etc | |

| So i got my server running and everything. I can connect to my server and its on dedicated 2. But others cant connect.... /connect 192.168.1.206:32132 Static Ip, ports good. I only have one port running on protocol "both". Would i need to add 2 ports running one TCP and other UDP? | |

| ok... good job, the ip you listed is for your local network only, you will need to connect via your ROUTERS ip from outside your local jetwork. just look on your router, or a site fthat address ( goober whatsmyip.com ) | |

Make sure you're port forwarding correctly, i know it sounds repetative, but if you can connect via lan, but not via your routers ip, then theres something screwy. In response to your question about udp vs tcp, I generally use ' both ' but it depends on your router. For tremulous, I believe only tcp is required. | |
