Unlimited server

i am sick of being shot and killed buy a modded las jet camper and i cant even do the same to them if we switched teams. so can we pls take out the mods?!

We are doubling there prices.

is it just me or does that make it sound like "oh it costs more it must be good... ah alien and i just bought this... spam it up!!!... hes running... time to fly out of his reach"

atlantis..do you realize how easy it is right now to buy the lasgun and kill everything? its like having the luci with more ammo and easier to fire. just the fact that its modded kind of makes things a challenge and people do still like it

yes i do realize but also don't like it being so easy for 4 people to get a las and then then just camp one spot like a long hall where your dead before you even reach them. Also what is the point of having these modded weps when we the people that help sorta run ACR cant even use these modded weps. All that happens is that when you become admin now you start bitching about how modded they are.

They make you a better player on aliens because of the challenge and they make you a better human because they force you to use weapons like mass and shotgun.

yes true but on uncreation and ACTS their have been areas where they just sit ret camping and a rant or a goon cant even get near without dieing

i beat humans using modded weapons all the time. im finding it that i use more patience to find out what im fighting more often now that there are modded weapons. im thinking alot before i charge and i think people need to be able to learn that more. including how to actually dodge and fight something so strong. emphasis on the DODGE skills

yes but what about good people that just take out the las and fire you cant really dodge a las from some one who is good and you in a tight constricting space.

That's usually called camping, and while modded weapons may encourage that activity, it is possible to do it anyway even with non-modded guns, e.g. three lasguns, a chain and a luci team-camping the hall.

yes but it takes less if they are las or prifel or both. also where getting off topic some where not talking about how to kill them and you need to be patient what i was talking about is taking them out

i dont see the need to take them out, i think the price should be upped before getting rid of it

im not asking to take the weps out just the mods just go back to reg damage and lower the fire rate

well i never said taking the weapons out themselves. i was saying not to take out the modification in those weapons. hopefully bug can get cracking on the price thing

what about the fact they can just ret camp and aliens cant touch them?! then the game is just a long 40min standoff!

fine... but explain the point of mods we cant use... also i remember some one saying after being acr when they went to another server they couldn't use the other guns.

the mods are so we become better player but im not sure about us on other servs i think it should be ok.

how being on other servers? i dont know other servers that i go to that use modded or different weapons. if so, it shouldnt matter cuz its not at our server then.

no no like being on other servers some one couldn't even buy or use it just because after being part of ACR

i dnt feel like requoting every 1 that has a good point, but especially on aliens, modded weapons will make u better. it will increase the need to dodge, then when u scrim, that skill will b used,

-some weapons on unlimited are modded
-they are cheap (gameplaywise) but cost alot
-we can't use them(?)(!) because it's supposed to make us better
-but noobs and non ACR can
