Adding a custom HUD to your tremulous

1. Ok first take the attached file and unzip it.

2. Go to library/application support/tremulous/base (for macs){for any other OS the place with your qkey/autogen.cfg}

3. Rename the unzipped folder to ui and Place the ui folder into your tremulous base

4. Open up tremulous minimized. ("command"+"enter")

5. Open console

6. Type /seta cg_hudfiles "ui/hud/"

7. Press enter then type /seta ui_menufiles "ui/menus.cfg"

8. Lastly type /exec ui/install.cfg

9. Adjust settings

10. Enjoy!

(Note: This file WILL work for other OS just the place where you place the file will be different)

This Hud is using Volt (and many others 15 in 1) it is a very good one to be using and also comes with extremely helpful binds.
Have another HUD in mind? Basically replace the contense with the 6 main Components you will need and they are install.cfg kill.cfg menu.cfg hud (folder) assets (folder) and Menu (folder).

Hello, Thank you Atlantis for your reply. i realy appreciate the help you provide.

Now, the problem is my trem is not coming up anymore..after that command..it keep saying the same error msg now. through icon or console whichever way i try to open it..it comes up till the black screen and even before the "Darklegion" screen shows up it vanishes, everytime.

I cant get to the Trem console to undo the command. or is there another route to possible thorugh my system console??? *very confused and sad *

try running the game through the system console and see if you can input the command then.

i cant pull up trem anymore. neither way. icon nor console.
the system console is the one that showed system error..which read "^3 menu not found ui/menus.cfg".
else, Trem Icon is click> appear >disappear<.

can there be a route through system console to control trem console, some how? i dno know.. i dont think...what dyu think? yu know? really need help.
