Military Ranks - The Official Post

For awhile now I have been seeing complaints about the "swords" and the admin system on the second server.

I have decided to kill two birds with one stone. Also, this system will save time by showing us who is next in line if a second in command goes inactive.

This system is not just for the forums, it is a new admin system for the second server. The admin.dat has not been created yet, but when it is done, each rank will represent a new level.

I will release the tests to go up in the ranks at different times. Today, I will release the test to go from Private --> Corporal. Anyone who has a higher rank then you can administer your test (Some tests do not need administering).

Test 1:

This one is not skill based, and, is fairly easy. Recommend someone who you feel would make a good {ACR} member. It can not be someone already recommended (i.e has level 3) and the person must have a client (you may help that person get one). In the recommendation please put why you feel this person would make a good member. For the moment, please PM the recommendation to me. In the near future, you will be able to PM it to the second in commands.

Test 2:

Corporal --> Sergeant

Be an in the clan for over 3 weeks.

(Test 1 must also be completed)

Edit: All current scrimmers are starting at First Lieutenant. This does not mean that people who become scrimmers get this rank. It is just something to start at.

PS. I recommend not to use avatars. It will make your rank symbol look better.

ok we gain a level by doing something but whats the advantage of having a higher level?

I'm going to completely redo the admin system for the second server. It's for more commands.

So what's this exactly do for the forums? Just to show who among who has a higher rank?

[EDIT] And did you notice that the non-ACR forum members are at the same level as ACRit's? Really bug, at least put ACRit's to coporal.

Atl I went over a year without admin I'm pretty sure you're not the only one with patience

you don't need it any more you have to room to move up in ranks.

Hey guys sry I am a bit lazy to go through and read all this again but can some one summerize how to get higher ranks and all that stuff

[edit] ok I was bored and I read it all but just to make sure u have to take tests to advance right?

.... fine let me summarize for you. to move up in ranks you have to take a certain test pertaining to your rank and next rank. Bug will let us know all the tests at some point or another.
