Forum Ranks Pt. 2

With all of the "excitement" about forum ranks. I have decided to implement the military system that we talked about long ago. Instead of the swords each member will have a symbol. For example a Second Private would have:


I will also come up with various tests to decide whether you move up in the ranks or not. Some tests will be based on skill while others might not be. Since it is summer I will have time to update these ranks as I see fit. The only request I have is that someone make me a .rar full of images like the one above. (They must have have a clear background). You can find them at http://www.militaryfactory.com/ranks/army_ranks.asp . The person who gives me the rar file first will get an admin award if you are currently below level 25. I will implement this when I get back home.

**Also, whoever is fixing the images please scale them so they are about 75% bigger.

Might want to take off the period in the link. You have ...asp. with a period IN the link. There isn't actually a period in the link, just to clear up some confusion.

yes seb winrar are the makers of the format .rar which according to 7zip is the only real rival of their own format .7z

I like yours most of all.

The first one looks like the graphics got messed up somehow. Second one looks too..pixel-y? And third one is just...Bleh.

But yours is very good.

what program do you use? I had to trim the whites so i constricted the pixels.

gimp, i used magic wand fuzzy select tool... but the images were pixely allready, idk what u did but u totally refurbished the image

so is this gonna happen with the ranks? I'd rather have the swords than the lame stars if this is just gonna sit.

Apparently Bug's gonna release 'em on Friday/Saturday, when he gets back. He needs to think of ranking tests though, and wants to altar the QvM so you can do !rank ingame, and it will show you your rank.

I guess he doesn't need the pics I redid. They've been sitting on my desktop forever. I'll just toss them out.
