Three comes after 4, right? Bleh's app for lvl 999 (minus 989)

Let me make some things clear.

When I make apps, I'll be using the same reasons you've heard over and over and over. I can give you some excuse about not abusing, banning rule-breakers, etc. But honestly, other than doing that, it's because it's natural to move up in admin level as you become a more respected/trusted/known player. It's like growing up. And, quite honestly, I want to go from being a 3 year old to being a 10-year old. I know, I know. We grow up so fast. You know, we also get fat pretty fast. But that's off topic.

Secondly. If you honestly expect me to use the format, I'll split my application in to 2 sections.

First section: The real reason why I want (You never NEED higher admin levels.) that admin level.
Second section: The format...*shivers*

Thirdly, in each of my applications I will involve a story describing how I could/could not have used that admin level. I'll also throw a little surprise at the end.

And, lastly. I'll make you laugh/smile at least once. If you have not smiled/laughed at the end of this thread, apparently you have something wrong mentally.

_______________APP STARTS HERE______________________

Once upon a time, there was a young boy, who was nicknamed Watchamacallit. Now, little Watchamacallit loved playing this computer game called Tremulous. He found this one fancy old server that apparently a lot of people liked, and decided to try it out.

Before starting the game, our young Watchamacallit saw a player aimbotting. We'll call that player "OhaiIAimBot"

Watchamacallit said;



Since other players knew that OhaiIAimBot was cheating, they tried kicking him.

Watchamacallit, with his ingenious epic powers, found out the rconpassword and then typed /kick OhaiIAimBot. And OhaiIAimBot. However, as the owner of the server got on and saw what happened, he decided to give Watchamacallit level 10 admin on the server. Partly because of what he did. But mostly because of his haxing-i-guessed-the-rcon-password-skills. Young Watchamacallit was saddened that he could no longer /kick people. But alas, he realized if he called a vote, and did !passvote to kick someone, he could help the server! So little Watchamacallit spent the next few hours enforcing the rules, until his mother told him to go to bed.

Our little young Watchamacallit slept peacefully that night, knowing he had new powers that could be used for good.

The next morning, Watchamacallit callvote/kicked everyone on the server, and was then banned from that server for life.

And that concludes the reasons of why I think I should have level 10.


Short version of why I should have level 10.
It's not enough to control the server, but you can still enforce the rules. And unlike little Watchamacallit, I won't abuse.

Exactly my point of why you hear the same reasons over and over why someone should get an admin level.
