Well seb I've wanted to do the same for a while. When I order my new mobo and get everything all setup I can setup a minecraft server for us to play with, but you would need to get hamachi to use it.
Subject: Re: The 100 Pages Event! Sat Jan 08, 2011 6:00 pm
speaking of wich,we probly should announce officially that we have a vpn channel on hamachi
its a ' virtual ' private network, so it makes your computer think that you are hooked up to your hamachi pals as if you were in the same local network
fun for games ect

Mbaud 18 is the US age to be a legal adult... how do you not know that. (additionally, your body still grows for a few years and your brain grows til around 25, so naturally speaking that is the adult age)

blade, the free version is nothing like the real version... the real version is survival based: you have health, blocks dont break in one hit, you have an inventory, and you have to make everything from scratch, theres a shitload of tools and items you can make, theres a day and night cycle, and at night monsters come to kill you, so you must gather materials and build during the day to protect yourself at night. its basically a hunter-gatherer lifestyle (hunter because pigs heal you with pork).

hmm, I haven't checked the game since atl showed it to me but my impression was that if you use the downloaded client it checks your < account \ password \ whatever > then validates the client

well it doesnt have LAN support right now, but its most likely coming in a future update. theres a way to simulate LAN, or a special kind of multiplayer similar to it (because current multiplayer doesnt let you create items, which you NEED to have fun), using hamachi, which atlantis mentioned before, and my friend has told me about. what i want is to be in a world with a few (like 3 at the most) of my friends and we all make something, because shit takes a long time to do by yourself.

a video to a Juno-esque song that pretty much gives you a good description of the fun side of minecraft
