fps drop in trem after reinstall

Hey, 1 last ditch attempt on trying to solve this before I give up on trem completely.

Basically I reinstalled my computer (and replaced an nvida 9800gt) about 2 months ago, after installation I have gone from 300-400 fps to 10 fps with an average of between 6-8 fps. This doesn't change, no matter what detail or resolution I have it on. I have tried reinstalling tremulous multiple times and updating graphics drivers/ using old outdated drivers. Nothing I do makes a difference.
Tremulous is the only game I have that is having problems, but it is also the only game I own that uses open GL so that might be a problem

If anyone has any ideas about what's wrong I would appreciate the help, cant find anyone else with the same problem as me...

my pc specs are:
Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition @ ~4ghz
Nvida GeForce GTX 590
8GB DDR2 800MHz
Western Digital Caviar Green Power 2TB
Coolermaster Silent Pro Modular 850W power supply

rebuilt it at Christmas worked fine until I reinstalled.

FPS is nothin to do with Graphic or Graphics card, it with Net connection.(correct me if im wrong)

yes and no, its one of those things where if you HAVE a bad connection that is one way you will receive bad fps,
in this case no, ( or I'd guess not ) caus he already had fine fps, and he's not experiencing any other internet
problems. ( example: my net-book has GREAT internet, but unfortunately ... it doesn't quite play trem up to par )

the only advice i can offer is 1) if you dont already /me refers you to tremfusion or 2) try installing the opengl
drivers if you haven't

My internet hasn't changed at all. so I don't think it would be that.
And i cant find open gl drivers for my card, its supposed to support version 4.1 using the supplied drivers.

all the money spent on all those parts and you get DDR2 ram?!

I had a similar problem with one of my ancient laptops. It played trem fine, till i rebuilt it and could no longer find the outdated drivers that used to be installed before i wiped it. you MUST find those drivers!

I am using the drivers for my g card supplied on the disk and when I search on the nvida website it tells me to use this update: GEFORCE 275.33 DRIVER
but nowhere in the notes does it talk about the nvida 590 -.-. I have tried trem with both the supplied drivers and the ones of the website, no change

@atlantis using the ddr2 from my old build till I can afford a new motherboard, using an amd2+ mobo that has a bios update for am3 but doesnt support ddr3

edit using drivers: 267.52 from the disk currently

what version of trem are you using, also, have you considered compiling it so it has native compatibility?

i used to have a mobo that was amd2/amd2+/amd3 and it couldent support ddr3 so idk if ddr3 is just for am3 or amd2+/amd3

Umm just a suggestion but do /com_maxfps (the trem framelimit) it might be set fairly low.

uh, what version of trem, like tremfusion or the basic 1.1 that comes w' the
tremulous.net files, or the revision from trem.tjw.org/backport ( r755 )
or the tremfusion ( good ) client
