| Somethings about *aimtest can't be answered:
Why?
- To protect non-admins from accessing it, and using it.
- To keep people from stealing my idea, atleast until *aimtest is download-able to admins.
What? (These Questions for deeper info won't be answered):
- I'm not an admin, but can I have an *aimtest access code anyway? - Exactly what is the script / layout? - What servers are *aimtest Protected? - How did you set up the secondary console (a.k.a. *aimtest)? - What hacking programs have you used to get it working? - (more might be added in the future)...

| Flamer created the secondary console by editing "data-1.1.0.pk3" re-compiling, then hacking tremulous data so it will read the new files and not defaults. The "data-1.1.0.pk3" is located at (User\Local Settings\Application Data\Tremulous\Base). | |

Atlantis never claimed being pro at development/hacking. And you didn't answer my question.

I never said that the folder didn't exist, I'm just saying that that's not where the data-1.1.0.pk3 is.

| We never said atlantis was dumb, or that there was no folder at that location. You are twisting the words to point this against each other. Keep on topic in your own topic. You started it. We are simply saying that you dont seem to know what a .pk3 file is, how they are used, and whats even in them. Prove us otherwise?
Also Your explanation to as to how you added a second console (seems pretty unnecessary to me if its just gonna block your screen/other console) makes no sense. Bug and lin know this file and whats in it, how its used, ect. do you? (those other acr members who want to know more information on what i am talking about just talk to me/pm me).

| A pk3 folder is like .zip
Pk3 holds and a path is given for each file, so when you play tremulous it finds the files.
-A good program I used that turned it into a .pk3 file is, "pakscape".
Ex:
mapname.shader goes in tremulous/base/scripts/
mapname.map (or mapname.bsp) goes in tremulous/base/maps/

| shader to C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Tremulous\base\#Mapname#\scripts\ for Vista (Ftw) Map to C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Tremulous\base Again, for Vista and a .pk3 IS a .zip ...Just renamed there is a shaderlist in said base folder... but it seems useless, only used for knowing what shaders to load - linux26 wrote:

| ill accept you semi-know what your talking about, so how about how does models, textures, shaders, ect involve adding a second console?
Do you even know what files to edit in the source to force it to read another file instead of that one?
What happened to this external program you said *aimtest was?
Where the hell does map shaders, mapping, and folders come into this?
