| Hey all. There's not really another forum to put this so...here it is.
I've been occasionally running a server out of the computer in my family's basement (which is rarely used but is a very powerful machine...more powerful than my gaming computer actually but it's cold in the basement so I don't go down there much). Usually I've just been playing rare maps with friends, testing new maps and layouts, etc., so I haven't left it up that often.
But if you'd like, I could change the server name and stats and make it an ACR server, running *almost* around-the-clock. It's here in PA, same basic area as the other servers, so the ping would appeal to the same clientèle as the others.
Ideas?

| can u give me info about computer plz ram etc. ohh and it would have to be normal build points other wise theres no point it would become like acr unlimited server
P.S. if ur willing and ur computer doesn't lag much while running a server i don't see why bug should turn you down ( I like the idea) | |

| thats a great idea i am with it all the way but i am with mario and it shouldn't be Unlimited cause it would just turn out like ACR unlimited

| Yeah it would definitely not be unlimited. Honestly I'm not a huge fan of unlimited BP games anyway. I'll have to double check these numbers (whenever I feel like going down there) as I build computers a lot and always mix things up between my machines, but I think it's a Core Duo at something like 2.8 Ghz and 4 GB of Ram. Unfortunately it runs Windows, but hey, Tremulous doesn't mind too much.
Perhaps it could be a "layouts" server. I've always enjoyed those. But it would definitely be free of some of the ridiculous crap layouts I've seen on, say, KoR (e.g. one node in the middle of the alien base...blah). | |

| well i do agree with chris on this plz dont make it unlimited build points and not like admin crazy rioters i think your idea on making it like layouts for like scrimaging
