You used Specing's name, Specing saw that and kicked you out of IRC, everything should be fine if you pick another name.

He doesn't have kick, but he has ghost. It's a server-wide command. If you somehow disconnect from the chat because of a high lag, you reconnect, but sometimes the server didn't recognize that you left and so you're like a "ghost," still floating around on the channel but not really there. So to fix that you do the ghost command to disconnect the lagging nickname so that you can use the nickname.

Basically, you used specing's registered nick, he used the ghost command and provided his password to disconnect you.

Point of the story: You use a registered nickname, if you don't provide a password, you must change your nick within 30 seconds or you'll be renamed to an unnameduser###
