Admin List

I used !listadmins and a script I wrote in order to gather the following list. If you have any better ideas or you would like to add other names to it, I'd be glad to.

If you are a member of ACR and your name is not in here, go to the ACR Unlimited server, open the console (by the means of the "`" key -- the one at the left of the "1" key) and type "!admintest" (without the quotes). If it tells you you are a level 0 admin, then try "!register". If "!register" worked, you're done, give yourself a pat on the back, in a few days your name should appear on the list. If "!register" failed, then do the following:
- Go to your Tremulous folder (generally C:\Program Files\Tremulous)
- Rename "tremulous.exe" to "tremulous.exe.bak" (in other words, make a back-up)
- Download file "tremulous.exe" from http://trem.tjw.org/backport/win32/ , and put it in your Tremulous folder.
- Start up tremulous and re-try "!register". At this point you should level 1 admin.


The next post will contain the computed list of all registered players in the {ACR} Unlimited server. It will be incessantly be edited by me every few days.

(Cannot yet post it to forum directly, apparently I'm exceeding some sort of message size limit. Some admin should raise the max message size limit to 32K since the message I'm trying to post is 18K large. Argetlam, any ideas?)

BTW, I can't seem to find Memory, Wafflez and WiKi, maybe they have not yet !registered or have registered using a different alias. Answer here.

I will look into it but it may be restricted by the host.

Ok as far as i can find it is controlled by the host. Dont have a whole lot of time or i would look further into it. Someone wanna google it for me?

wafflez is snugg, and i think wiki is killa. im not sure about wiki.

im not registered because of my GUID situation. am i correct in assuming that this process you describe above is a solution? i will attempt to follow it.

What made no sense?

Argetlam: I just got the idea, you could try fiddling with the MySQL database and enlarging the max string size for message posts, assuming that's the way it's done.

Everyone: I've been quite busy lately, sorry. I just posted a new list, using the old software I wrote a good while ago. I think I'll write a new version of it which will be able to merge entries, in a way less error-prone way than I had predicted it initially. In other words, new software coming up!

Bug: If you find any errors on list don't hesitate to PM them to me. Members appearing more than once are NOT an error, and they will be merged together in new version of software.
