Servers Are Down

Well not much to say here.... It was a good run guys, but with college around the corner and the game dying I have decided to take down the servers. This forum will still be up (obviously) and I'll still be around on MSN and AIM and stuff. I really had a lot of fun with all of you and it seems weird to say but I will always remember this game and this clan as being a huge part of my life. You guys don't really know it but it really helped me through some hard times and it taught me a lot. But most importantly, I had fun! And I hope all of you did too.

And be sure, I will remember each and every one of you!

Sorry to read this, I never played with you on your server, so I do not know you. I started to play on your server when UBP (which was my favorite server) began to run out of players, I regret not have played on your server in the golden years, but I want to tell you that for me and many players your server was one of the most respected of which remain standing today mainly due to good treatment of players by administrators . Of all the servers that are still up, none motivates me, so now ... which server I will play? . I will never forget the good games with Altair, Vyrus, Your Master, Alexis, Bertus aka UnknownSoldier, Essence (you're a gossip, always reading my private messages!), Green, Short, Mr. Taiyo, Newb, Bait, Wasabi, Blade, Crazy Banan, Atlantis, Firefox ... and all the other players. I guess now I will have no choice but to start playing Urban Terror, xDD.

Oh, and if you ever turn on the server to play some games, tell me and I will be there.

I at least have 1 map in mercenaries guild so I guess I made my mark in trem.

I always have something to suggest, so here is my suggestion in this case(I already suggested this to BugHuman before some months),
maybe all admins that can and some friends of the server too, can pay monthly or yearly a small fee to keep the server alive. I m sure you kept a backup of the mod files, so we can upload the files to a new server and all pay a very small portion of the rent price. If for example the monthly rental is 30$ I can pay 30$ for June, someone else 30$ for July etc

Think about it guys...

if money is the reason, i believe Alta's idea is doable. what is the cost of keeping the server alive?
and final request - can you publish mod files? miracles happen - someone someday may resurrect the server

i can put up the archives i've got, i dont believe any1 took up after me, and they are a bit of a mess
but the builds should work
just not tonight im kinda worn out

It's 25 a month and doable if you guys really want... but there really isn't that much of a population anymore... Also someone could just host the QVM. Takes about 5 minutes to set up a tremulous server and put it online.

Vyrus you are the man, (if you want of course)communicate at IM with Bug, get the prices for the server, learn how to do this and lets all discuss how to pay, Who else is in this? I can pay for the first 2 months instantly after we agree... Paypal, IBAN account etc is OK.

Ok, i will not eat 29 icecreams the next 3 months. I m ready to pay 3 months a year. Its about 19 euros every month, its OK.
If we are 4 to this We can pay 25USD every 3 months, 50 USD each for the next 2 years.
Come on who is next?

i can help you set it up but you'll be better off admining it yourselves
i probly wont be on too often, but i'll try and stop by from time to time

I'm currently in debt and have other problems creeping up that require money and I don't have a constant income.... Other than that I don't why I cant help.

I already have 999 in 3 servers, this is not what i need.

My difficulty is that i have 2 kids and all day they keep me busy till 23:00.

So it will be very difficult for me to learn how to setup this server.

Icaro had an idea, he already have a server(Newrant too), he can help others too to setup a server at home, so 3-4-5 guys can have a home server and for example July is my turn to turn on my server, August Icaro will boot his server etc.

But the acr unlimited mods were really great. The best gameplay all over.
